If you operate an ORV (off-road vehicle) on or across highways, you're required to obtain ICBC’s Basic Insurance. If you operate an ORV on forest service roads, you'll need $200,000 in third-party liability insurance. This may be obtained from ICBC or other insurers. For all other Crown land, liability insurance is voluntary but strongly recommended, especially for those participating in the Canada Safety Council endorsed programs.

A DOT certified helmet in good working condition is required to take part in this course. You will also be asked to wear proper clothing and be prepared for any weather situation. Bug spray and sunscreen may be needed for your comfort. You are responsible for your meals and drinks (absolutely no alcohol). Please let us know of any medical conditions prior to the course to ensure your safety.
